Knock Sensor Lamp using Arduino | #arduino
In this video, I have made a knock sensor
lamp using Arduino.
Materials Required for this Project:
1. Arduino Board (ex.UNO, MEGA).
2. LED (optional) or you can use
the In-Built LED at Pin 13.
3. 220 Ω Resistor.
4. Piezo-Electric Module or
Passive Buzzer.
5. 1M Ω Resistor (recommended)
Adjust the threshold if you
use any other resistors.
Connections:
1. Connect the positive leg of the
LED to pin 13 through a 220 Ω
resistor.
2. Connect the negative leg of the
LED to GND of Arduino.
3. Connect the positive leg of the
piezo-electric module or passive
buzzer to Analog Pin (A0).
4. Connect the negative leg of the
piezo-electric module or passive
buzzer to GND of Arduino.
5. Connect a 1M Ω resistor between
Analog Pin 0 and GND or between
positive leg and negative leg
of the piezo-electric module
or passive buzzer.
Accessing the CODE:
1. Open Arduino IDE and click on
Files-then Examples-click on
'Sensors' under Examples from
Custom Libraries and Click on
"Knock".
2. A new window containing the
example code will open.
3. Adjust the threshold as per
your resistor values.
NOTE:
Always remember to use the
220 Ω resistor with the LED
as without using it may cause
your LED to blow-up.
