Marco Balanzino & Alessandro Rota - Custom View with Motion Layout - droidcon Italy 2021

The aim of this talk is analysing the perks and cons of building a custom, flexible and reusable component using MotionLayout under the hood.

Our main purpose was having a UI module containing reusable widget such as toolbars.
These UI components have to be highly customisable, allowing the app developer to set any title, buttons and views to be put inside the widget.

To achieve such flexible components, we created some custom components extending the base MotionLayout class.
