Melissa Rancourt is a passionate woman wearing many hats. Head of Faculty at the Boston University of Brussels, she is a business and social entrepreneur and an industrial engineer with 20 years experience of leading organisations through change and improvement initiatives and creating new international business ventures. Melissa Rancourt is also Founder and Chairman for the Greelight for Girls asbl, an international non-profit organisation and a social initiative with the mission to encourage girls of any age to consider a future in math, science, engineering and technology by introducing them to the world of science in fun and exciting ways.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
