Bother or Disturb - Difference Between Bother and Disturb
In this video, learn the difference between "bother" and "disturb" and learn when to use "bother" and when to use "disturb" in common questions and statements.
Should you say:
Sorry to bother you...
or
Sorry to disturb you...
What's the difference between these two statements, and when should you use "bother" and "disturb".
In this case, bother and disturb are interchangeable and have the same meaning.
Disturb is more formal, and also sound a little more serious. But that's a subtle difference and you can use either one.
However, there are some cases where you would ONLY use "bother" and ONLY use "disturb".
