For N-400 applicants who apply their Form N-400 ON and AFTER December 1, 2020, you will be tested with version 2020 of the Civics test while taking the naturalization interview.

This version of the Civcs test has 128 questions. During the naturalization interview, you will be asked 20 questions from the list of 128 questions in English. You must answer correctly twelve (12) out of 20 questions to pass the Civics test.

If you are 65 years old or older and have been a legal permanent resident of the United States for 20 or more years, you may study only questions that have been marked with an asterisk (*).
