Korg Wavestate step sequence lane - what does it do and how you can use it

The step sequence lane on the Korg Wavestate opens up huge modulation possibilities. It’s a source of programmable modulation per-step. In this video I explain how it works and how to use the step sequence lane to make crazy dynamic sounds on the Wavestate. I love this synth!

The modulation power of the Wavestate is immense, and one of the most powerful weapons it has is a per-step programmed modulation amount, which is set in the step sequence lane. You can use the step sequence lane to modulation almost any parameter in a program. It can be combined with other modulation sources on the Wavestate for even more dynamic effect.
