00:34 - Fragrance Overview
L'Eau Super Majeure d'Issey was released in 2018, the year after the original l'Eau Majeure d'Issey. On this occasion, the perfumers behind it were Aurélien Guichard and Fabrice Pellegrin. Given that it's a promising summer fragrance, we decided to provide it with a review.

01:22 - Composition
the aromatic head opens with a classic citrus and aromatic combination, which consists of lime, sage, and fresh basil. It dissipates quickly to then deliver a heart dominated by cashmerean, a synthetic compound reminiscent of amber and merino wool. It accords nicely with sea salt and earthy patchouli to produce a comforting yet alluring scent.

Finally, the base offers gourmand tonka bean as the cashmerean persists with additional sandalwood and musky guaiacwood.

04:03 - Third-Party Feedback
A number of people commented that this is a fragrance that smells almost too familiar and lacks a veritable identity. Nobody found it inoffensive but few seemed to be overly enamoured by its properties. It seemed most successful among men and women in their mid-thirties or above.

05:05 - Wake & Strength
An overall spring and summer fragrance best suited to warm weather, Eau Super Majeure d'Issey can also be worn in the early autumn when the sunshine continues to provide some heat.

As for its performance, it offers a balance sillage, which leaves a pleasant trail behind the wearer. The projection is limited and requires a significant application to provide a wide radius of scent.

Finally, the longevity is somewhat average and provides you around five hours of performance.

05:35 - Impressions
As mentioned earlier, it's probably best suited to men in their thirties. Given that it's inoffensive, it could easily be worn by younger people, though.

Otherwise, this is easily a daytime fragrance but could be worn in the early evening too, particularly at the peak of summer. Meanwhile, it's best worn either casually or in the office.

Finally, this isn't an overly masculine fragrance. In fact, it could potentially be worn by women too!

6:45 - Presentation
Although the bottle is pleasant, it does have a very large cap. Nevertheless, the larger 100ml bottle size is a little more reasonable. Otherwise, the bottle is comfortable to use with an excellent atomiser that produces a light mist that gently lands on the skin.

The packaging is simple but it would be absolutely fine for a gift. Furthermore, the value for money is excellent and 100ml can be picked up for as little as $35 for the retailers listed above.
