Virtual Tech Reunions: MIT Capital Project & Deep Dive into Kendall Square
While many in the MIT community have been away over the past year, MIT’s campus has been transformed: Two new residences welcomed their first group of students, buildings and open spaces are taking shape in Kendall Square, and while work is winding down on the renewal of the Hayden Library and Boathouse, construction has begun on the Schwarzman College of Computing on Vassar Street. Join Director of Campus Construction Richard Amster and Senior Project Manager Christos Maravelias as they take us on a tour of the many construction and renewal projects underway on campus wrapping up with a deep dive into the new Gateway to Campus in Kendall Square.
The video tour will be followed by a live Q&A with Richard Amster and Vice President for Campus Services and Stewardship Joe Higgins.
This presentation was part of Virtual Tech Reunions 2021 on June 5, 2021.
