As the verse, you cited states, “It is God who gives you the power to get wealth.” In this verse “Power” means capacity, means, ability, strength, etc.

It is within each of us to get wealth, not by our own strength and ability, but through His.

Wealth can be obtained aside from God’s help and blessing, but it is not wealth that confirms His covenant with man.

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matt 6:33

God doesn’t give us the power to get wealth so that we become independent of Him, but rather that we become even more dependent on Him. “Without Him, I can do nothing.” John 15.5
