At the Spartan Broomfield campus, one of our most prominent engines is the Rolls Royce RB-211 Turbofan Engine. This impressive piece of machinery once provided power to the Lockheed L-1011 Tristar Aircraft during its operational phase. As part of their aviation maintenance training, students engage with this engine to gain insight into servicing turbofan engines.
