La Palma Apartments: Isa Apartamentos in Tazacorte, near the lava delta.

This is the place we stayed 3 nights for 39 euro a night. The first night I stayed at El Paso hostel (Casa Encantada) for 17 euro a night (6 bed dormitory). I don't book via booking.com as they usually have robbery prices (sometimes I do use booking.com if prices are ok). But best to book direct upon arrival. But since most of apartment places are closed at night (and one usually arrives at night as it takes time to get to the island) I stay the first night at a cheap El Paso hostel (as they always have availibility) and then the next day when it clears up I go direct to find apartment.
