However, regardless of some ups and downs, our kitchen shed now has an (eco friendly) roof and walls and is (hopefully) weather tight. As usual, we'll show you what we did every step of the way as we battle to find the best building materials and deal with the wind...

In case this is the first video in the series you've watched, here's a quick bit of background...

My name's Guy and my wife Kylie and I have bought an old Portuguese farmhouse and land that has been abandoned for 20+ years.

We started renovating the property in late 2020 and have been living in a rental flat 30km drive away as the farm house is not currently habitable. So we can save time driving back and forth, and spend more time on our land, we've decided to move on to the land.

We built a large circular deck and are in the process of building a shed which will house our solar equipment and a temporary kitchen. Very soon we'll be pitching a large bell tent on the deck and this will be our home for the next 6-24 months while we crack on with renovation works in the main house.
