NBC Network - Eischied - "Angels of Terror" - WMAQ-TV (Complete-ish Broadcast, 10/26/1979) 📺

Here's a "complete-ish" broadcast [composite] of a complete first-run episode of Eischied, "Angels of Terror," as aired over the NBC Network, largely via WMAQ Channel 5.

Note: The first 32-odd minutes of this clip are from our superior-quality original broadcast airing recording with commercials - unfortunately this tape ran out and so in order to see the remainder of the episode, we had to edit in the last 22 minutes from the best copy available, which sadly had the ads cut out.

This short-lived series (from the creative team that had produced Kojak, and mounted by the producer of Police Woman) starred Joe Don Baker as Chief Earl Eischied. (incidentally, this episode features a trio of MST3k favorites - besides Joe Don Baker ("Mitchell"), there's also Alan Oppenheimer (the man insisting you do not bother him while he's working on his patent papers in "Riding with Death") and lastly Joe Estevez (who at this point was going by Joseph Sheen) (from "Soultaker", among others).

In this episode, Captain Finnerty (Alan Oppenheimer) is charged with negligent homicide in connection with the murder of a 13-year-old assailant. Guests include Jim Backus (Gilligan's Island and the voice of Mr. Magoo) and Shelley Berman.
