What a fun restoration this was! I have never done a victorian OR gothic style piece before and this one was BOTH! You'd never guess that the end result is the same piece that I started with. It only cost me $53 in products INCLUDING my brushes and non-power tools.
The way this project turned out reminds me so much of the whimsically haunting things that @Christine McConnell does. If you haven't heard of her, you might get a real kick out of seeing her art! She can make anything look whimsical. Even food!
