Facundo Conte, an Argentine professional volleyball player who plays as an outside hitter, made his mark at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, clinching a bronze medal.

In the realm of rugby sevens, Marcos Moneta, representing Argentina at the 2020 Summer Olympics, earned distinction. He played a crucial role in securing Argentina's first-ever Olympic medal in rugby sevens by defeating Great Britain 17-12 in the third-place match. Moneta's performance earned him the prestigious title of World Rugby's Men's Sevens Player of the Year for 2021.
