Andrea Pacella: How a Passionate Photographer Became an Executive at Leica

Leica recently celebrated the 50th anniversary of their factory in Porto, Portugal, and I had the privilege to attend this momentous celebration. In addition, Leica always asks if anyone is interested in interviewing any of the executives in the company, and of course, I said yes. This is my first of two interviews with Andrea Pacella, the Vice President of Global Marketing and Communication at Leica Camera AG. Like many Leica employees, Andrea is passionate about photography and the Leica brand. I think you'll enjoy this interview because he's basically one of us.
