Octopus Stew ( POLVO)

Ola Everyone! Today I'm going to show you how to make a Traditional Portuguese Octopus Stew that is so delicious it warms your heart!❤️The Ingredients are so simple and the Octopus is juicy and tender and the flavours are going to make you dance! Try it out!!! 🐙🐙🐙😊

Recipe PORTUGUESE OCTOPUS
Cooking Time 1hr 30 mins

Ingredients: 1 and 1/2 Pound Octopus ( cut in desired Pieces)
1 to 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
2 Tbsp Chopped Garlic
Half a large Onion Chopped
1 Tsp Paprika
2 Tbsp Red Bell Pepper Paste
1 Tbsp Chilli Paste
2 Cups Cold Water if needed
Half Cube Chicken Boullion
1/4 Cup Chopped Parsley
1/2 Cup Red Wine
4 Cups Red Potato ( Peeled and Quartered)
Salt to Taste

Method: At a medium temp and in a med to lg Pot brown the garic and Onions and add paprika, and both Pastes mix well and then add Octopus. stirring until well combined. Cover and let come to a boil and boil for 10 mins stirring occassionally and afer 10 mins of boiling let simmer for 20 mins covered. stirring as needed.When water reduces add in cold water and continue to simmer for additional 20 mins and when octopus is cooked thourgh add Parsly, Boullion, wine and Salt if need and add the potatoes and increase temp untill potatoes come to a boil and cover and simmer untill potatoes are half cooked and always mix occassionally. Transfer into a desired casserole dish and bake uncover at 350 degreees Farenheit for 30 mins. Bon Appetie!
