Helmet cam combat footage appears to show Green Berets, along with conventional US Army infantry soldiers, defending an outpost from an insurgent attack in Afghanistan.

The cameraman engages enemy positions with his suppressed carbine and then relays the location to his buddy for him to hit. He then shouts the distance and direction to others around the outpost for their situational awareness, and so the headquarters element can call it in to a centralized command unit that can keep tabs on the battle and send enemy coordinates to any responding aircraft or ISR assets.
