I Bought A Broken SEGA Game Gear On eBay...Can We Fix It?

The SEGA Game Gear was a handheld from the 90s that compete with the Game Boy while attempting to push better specs and a backlit screen. Unfortunately for these handhelds they tend to break down over time and the screen inside isn't great by today's standards. Today I wanted to take a look at a Game Gear I ordered on eBay that is broken and attempt to fix and even upgrade it.
