How to combine date and time in Excel?

Combining date and time values in Excel is straightforward. If your date and time are in separate cells, use the addition operator. For instance, if the date is in cell A1 and the time is in cell B1, the formula `=A1+B1` will combine them into a single date-time value. Ensure the cells are formatted to display dates and times appropriately; use the "Format Cells" option (Ctrl+1) and select a date and time format from the "Number" tab, under the "Date" or "Custom" category. Alternatively, if the date and time are in text format, you can use the `DATEVALUE` and `TIMEVALUE` functions. For example, `=DATEVALUE("1/1/2024") + TIMEVALUE("10:30 AM")` combines the text strings. Again, format the resulting cell to display the combined date and time properly.
