A YEAR Off-Grid Restoring an Abandoned Farm [TIMELAPSE]

It's time for our annual timelapse of the past year. In this video we look back on September - September (plus a bit extra!). This year hasn't been easy and I'd be lying if I said there weren't times we wondered what on earth we were doing here, making our lives more complicated by living this way and trying to build a homestead from scratch. There have been (many) days where I've said "Why aren't we just living in a flat, near a hospital, with clean running water and central heating?!". There have been (many) days it feels like we're taking 1 step forwards and 10 steps backwards here. There have been SO many abandoned projects, things falling apart and hard work gone to waste. In short, it has not been a great year for homesteading. But it has been a great year for something far more important. And putting this video together reminded me of how much we achieved, in spite of everything. I hope you enjoy 💓
