This is the Opportunity District segment of DIY Destinations - Dubai & Expo 2020 Special. The short introduction highlight some of the pavilion located in the Opportunity District, with theme of all of us can unlocking eight billion opportunities that can help individuals and communities create a better tomorrow, today.

First pavilion showcase includes Luxembourg, encouraging us to look outward and combine its human, natural, technical, industrial, and financial resources to create its future. It’s presentation showcase how the country reinvented itself in order to move from an agricultural to industrial power and a global financial center with its redirection towards research, digital technologies, and space industries.

The British Pavilion is inspired by a project from the late scientist Stephen Hawking. The theme was ‘Innovating for a Shared Future’, how technology can transform every aspect of human experience and beyond including healthcare, transport, energy and climate change with an impact yet to be fully realized.

The theme for Ukraine Pavilion is Smart Ukraine, connecting the dots, and showcasing how future technologies and clever ideas can help create a more balanced world. Smart living, smart thinking and smart feelings will come together.

Finally, inspired by the 'Rock of Monaco', this gem-like, polygonal pavilion takes you on a multi-sensory journey through mirrored exhibition spaces, replicating the sights and smells of the French Riviera.
