Gold is Planet Earths true currency. When we left the gold standard in the 70's we saw an erosion of our purchasing power and a large sense of mistrust in the US dollar. We are starting to see the same thing happen more and more now with all of these black swan events. We are seeing one big news story after the next and it is making many investors very nervous as to what the next news story could be. Could we see a situation where the dollar crashes? If that is the case and the billionaires are in dollars that would equate to a massive loss. That being said we are seeing billionaires like Peter Thiel now accept gold and bitcoin as a form of payment for his company Palantir, this is very unheard of especially for a software company. We are seeing billionaires like Stanley Drunkenmiller who worked with George Soros and nearly collapsed the Bank of England now worried that the dollar will lose reserve currency status in the coming decade.

We then see another billionaire, Ray Dalio also saying that if you do not own gold than you do not understand history or economics.

And then to make matters even worse; Sam Zell said for many decades that Gold is a horrible investment is not fearful of the direction that this country is headed and is now stocking up on gold.

All of this is very concerning and meanwhile the general public is out there investing in stocks and meme coins the billionaire investors and founders are playing massive defense.
