Good Bad Movie Showdown, Pilot Theme

The Good Bad Movie Showdown is a friendly head-to-head contest to find the most enjoyable bad movie within a given theme. Each challenger pitches two movies to the hosts who vote on which flick from each contender to watch in competition. May the best-worst movie win!

Episode 1 - Pilot
Ryan and Bill go head to head, along with hosts Tori and Beardo. We're starting the series off right with the theme Pilot. In a movie vs. movie showdown, who will win? What movies will they pitch? What movies will they watch? And most importantly, what movie will win the coveted and rare Best award?

Ryan proposes a classic black and white film from 1963, The Skydivers, directed by Coleman Francis. Both this film and the one that Francis is best known for, The Beast of Yucca Flats (1961), are memorable MST3K alums. Bill's first selection is an 80's B-movie from the preeminent BBB director, Andy Sidaris. Malibu Express (1985) is from the Girl, Guns and G-Strings DVD collection. Ryan's second selection is a knock off of the red bandanna wearing Rambo. An Indonesian action revenge film, The Intruder (1986) was also known as Rambu. Bill's second selection flew in zapping and powing, the very hard to find failed pilot TV movie Justice League of America (1997).
