UK Foreign Sec James Cleverly forced to run for cover in Israel as Hamas launch rocket barrage

The UK's Foreign secretary was forced to run for cover as Hamas launched a barrage of rockets in southern Israel.

Footage shows a group of people, including James Cleverly, running into a building as air sirens blared in Ofakim.

Though it can be hard to spot him, Mr Cleverly can be seen wearing red socks as he runs towards the entrance.

A Foreign Office spokesperson said earlier today that the Foreign Sec arrived in Israel this morning as part of a trip to "demonstrate the UK's unwavering solidarity" with the country.
