Smarter, data-driven and innovative: The evolution of Indian agriculture
PM Modi shares that he is honoured to receive the FAO’s Agricola Medal. In his address, he highlights how India is blending its thousands-of-years-old agricultural traditions with modern science and innovation. From Soil Health Cards and micro-irrigation to Digital Public Infrastructure has become the new strength of the Indian farmer. India has also developed nearly 3,000 climate-resilient crop varieties.
