Tomb Raider III (1998) Playthrough (No Commentary)

For the London set of levels, I've upped the in-game gamma. Made all those flares I picked up worthless but stumbling around in the dark doesn't make for a good viewing experience.
I won't be doing Last Revelation or Chronicles in the near future. It's a very tedious process putting the videos for these games together. I need a break from it.

This is the PC version using Peixoto's patch, which you download at your own risk. Your antivirus and Windows will throw a fit when you do. I won't tell you it's perfectly safe, because I don't know for sure. I'm using remastered and upscaled pre-rendered scenes produced by LeonDeka. I had issues getting them to play correctly in-game, so they were edited in. The inventory screen is also bugged, so I only open it to use key items.
I'm playing mostly one-handed with keyboard controls. Each level is presented as if it was done in one go. No deaths are shown.

There are quite a few (122) edits. Except for three instances of cutting off music in Lud's Gate, RX-Tech Mines and the subtitles I've done, none are notable and the vast majority should be fairly difficult to spot.
The cuts for those two levels are due to some tricky jumps and me not wanting to memorize more than 5 minutes ahead.

This isn't a 100% playthrough. I skip secrets to save time but I may occasionally go out of my way for ammo. My goal was to get through each level and the game quickly. That said... In India, I waste a few minutes picking up items. I did remember you lose your weapons in Nevada but didn't remember that you actually lost everything you've picked up. Weapons, ammo, medkits and flares. The baffling thing for me is that there are a ton of items littered throughout the first Nevada level, all of which will be immediately taken from you. Why punish the player for exploring your levels?

I decided not to redo the India levels as I was already behind schedule and it would only save a few minutes in total.

I opted to not include the individual level statistics this time around. The music that plays when you finish a level is a lot longer than what played in 2. The completion time will always be inaccurate anyway as I waited several seconds after loading saves for the health bar to fade away to better disguise the edits. I spent ~60 hours on this in addition to that.

I sequence break the following levels:
River Ganges - Skips a significant amount of the level. The controls for the quad bike suck.
High Security Compound - Skips a block "puzzle" and some back and forth to shut off a fire. Sprinting into the wall prevents you from being immolated when you fall down.
Crash Site - Skips an extended platforming sequence necessary to get up onto the plane.
Lost City of Tinnos - Very minor, just skips an enemy encounter.

There's no cutscene for finding the artifacts. It just dumps you into the next set of levels.
