Ronnie Kray painted Jesus crucifixion ✝️ #shorts

Ronnie Kray and Reggie Kray were twin brothers who became two of London’s most notorious organized crime figures in the 1950s and 1960s, operating a powerful criminal network in the East End.

After both were sentenced to life imprisonment in 1969, Ronnie Kray spent much of his sentence behind bars. In 1972, while incarcerated at HM Prison Parkhurst, he painted a depiction of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

The artwork was later acquired by the Museum of London in 2006. It stands as a historical artifact reflecting how even individuals with violent and troubled pasts sometimes turned toward religious imagery and creative expression during imprisonment.
