The British Mid-Engine V8 That Never Was! | 1967 Rover/Alvis P6BS 🏎️🇬🇧 #RoverP6BS #ClassicCars

What if Britain had built a mid-engined V8 sports car before the supercar era? In this video, I take a closer look at the incredibly rare 1967 Rover/Alvis P6BS, a one-off prototype powered by Rover’s lightweight 3.5-litre V8.

Designed by Spen King and Gordon Bashford, the P6BS promised impressive performance, innovative packaging, and striking styling. Unfortunately, the project was cancelled following the British Leyland merger in 1968, leaving just this single surviving prototype.

Join me as I explore one of Britain’s greatest automotive “what ifs” and discover why this remarkable car still fascinates enthusiasts today.
