Chemistry: What is the Mole (Avogadro's Number)? 2 practice problems | Homework Tutor

The Mole is a "counting word." We use it like a "pair," or a "dozen" - but for a very large number of very small objects, like atoms, ions, and molecules. Avogadro's Number is 6.02 x 10^23, and is named after the great chemist Amedeo Avogadro.

The Mole is used in a lot of conversion problems in chemistry. We work out two practice problems here in full.
