This video has been created for first time builders so they can understand where each piece of a build fits and follow each of the steps easily. Some more experienced builders my find that going straight to the second video in the series, where I setup the board, may be of more interest.
In this video I introduce the excellent CC3D and cover the second half of the elements needed to make your first quad copter.
- Introduction (0:02)
- Explanation of BEC (what is does - switched and linear) (1:34)
- Plugging in the ESC connectors (2:40)
- Motor installation tip (4:14)
- Plugging in the receiver connections (5:30)
- Useful websites (8:57)
- Installing GCS on the PC (9:41)
- Installing the firmware to the board (10:55)
- Installing firmware (13:09)
- Calibrating gyros and accelerometers (15:27)
