Years ago I went up to London specifically to busk for the day. Train, gear, the lot. Got moved on from almost every single spot I tried.

Turns out the City of London literally bans collecting money under a 1916 Act. Westminster wants a paid licence. Camden, Lambeth, Manchester, Brighton — every borough has different rules, and none of it was findable in one place.
