Andy on zodiac at the bow of the ship coming into the harbour, Simon & "routine mast inspection" crew already up on the ship climbing to hang banner saying "forests for life". Richard & me (Doug) in the water in front of the Eastern Ruby, filmed here with the little banner... Wetsuit, flippers, "Stop the Chop" flag...VERY close the front & side of the ship... Illegally harvested rainforest timber from Malaysia on board. ♥ beating very fast.
I think that action & Kearn's work gave birth to the first Greenpeace Australia Good Wood Guide...APP still cuts down rainforest for us to wipe our butts with. Can't we do one really great action that aligns us all behind clean water, clean air & healthy land? How do we love all the children of all species for all time? ♥
