Porsche 944 Washer Motor and Bottle Restore

When I first purchased the 944 I noticed that there was no windshield washer spraying. I thought it was simply out of fluid, but when I topped it up there was still no spray coming out of the nozzles. Further investigation made me think the washer motor was failed based on the horrendous noises it was making, but I think that was an effect of the bottle breaking down inside. We replaced the washer motor and dump out the washer reservior to clean the intake screen and remove any floating debris from the fluid reservoir to fully restore functioanlity of the windshield wash functionality of the 1983 Porsche 944. It's important to have a clean windshield when driving on or off the road!
