Donald and Melania Trump sign bill making revenge & deepfake porn a federal crime

President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump hosted a ceremony at the White House Rose Garden today, where they signed the Take It Down Act. The legislation, helped passed through congress by the First Lady, makes it a federal offense to “knowingly publish” intimate images without a person’s consent, such as revenge porn or AI-generated deepfake porn.
