Sir Desmond Swayne: There's an urgency for Boris Johnson to lift lockdown | 18-Feb-21

Boris Johnson has stressed he will take a “cautious and prudent approach” to easing England’s third national lockdown, as he waits for new data on the impact of the Covid vaccine.

But Conservative MP Sir Desmond Swayne said the approach "shouldn't be cautious at all".

Speaking with talkRADIO's Julia Hartley-Brewer, he said: "There's an urgency to lift the lockdown. It comes at an enormous social and economic cost."
