Being able to identify most of the airplanes you'll encounter in the air is such an important skill to learn as an aviator. Most of us learn this over a long period of time, but the more I think about it, the more I realize we really need to get proficient at this rather quickly to be able to safely interact with other aircraft we encounter in the skies each day.
