NYC Moving Vlog | From Chelsea to Brooklyn | Friends, Unboxing, & My New Home

Hi Guys,

Another COLD winter Monday, but I'm feeling the holiday vibes, are you? So quick question, who here has moved recently? Moving is both tough and exhausting. Trust me, I've moved five times in New York City and it never gets easier. The one thing that I did this year before my move was find ways to recycle things I didn't need or use anymore, I wanted to get rid of some of the clutter! Thankfully we had quite a lot of help from friends, which made the move a lot more fun and less stressful.

I've already posted a video that I filmed in the new apartment. In my last Coffee Talk I gave you guys a little peek into the new apartment so if you haven't seen it make sure to check it out. So many of you said you'd like to see a moving vlog so I tried to capture as much of the move as possible for you guys! So fun fact I've lived in NYC for five years and I've lived in Chelsea, West Village, Hell's Kitchen, and now BROOKLYN! Has anyone lived in New York City, if so which borough?

With where I am in my life I felt a need to go somewhere a little quieter, with more space, and a much more relaxed environment. I do love Manhattan, but the fast pace of the city was starting to tire me out. Brooklyn is only a short train ride away on the L, which I know is shutting down so don't ask me what I plan to do in April when it shuts down. If anyone lives here and has any ideas of what I should do please let me know!

I had wonderful memories in all of my old apartments, but it's time to make new memories and turn a new page. One of my favorite parts of moving is getting to redecorate your new apartment. For me, decorating is so much fun. Everything from the furniture to the decorations you put in a house that turns it into a home. For me, I fill my home with candles, pictures of family and friends, a comfy couch, fluffy blankets, and plants.

So you might notice, I filmed this vlog super candidly for you guys because I wanted to bring you along on the real craziness of the move. Let me know if you like these, and if I should I do this more often?
