At this time Maui is focusing on the health and safety of our community, visitor industry employees, health care professionals, and our healthcare system. As a small, remote island community, our residents are particularly vulnerable to the COVID-19 crisis. The mandated 14-day quarantine for all visitors and residents entering the state has made Maui into a quiet place. It is working though. So far the virus is not spreading. We all hope for a flat curve in Maui and the rest of the country.
