Roku’s Afternoon Adventure 2_5

It was Roku’s turn to come out today! However Pabu was begging to come out as well, so I made sure I had a friend to look after him while I spend time with Roku. As explained in many other videos I cannot take all x3 of my birds out together as they all fight for my attention, Roku however being the most gentle and introverted will get upset and fly off into a tree rather then try fight for my attention. Korra will throw her weight around to get it, Pabu will literally fly at my face to be noticed.
So it’s 100% proven they all have a better and more enjoyable time out solo, one on one with dad is the best! Yet I can admit I made a mistake bringing Bubblegum monster and as a result Roku got a little upset, he still had a ok time just not as good if it were one on one, so he will have some cuddles and Netflix time inside tonight :)

Pabu’s tail has almost fully grown back! Roku is now starting to explore trees more which is great, not only can he get away from psycho cockatoos but he can be as destructive as he likes :)

Bumi is getting more confident each time he is out, he even navigated brilliantly through a thick set of trees with ease! Still has moments where he wants mum to pick him up like a baby, even is he’s in the top of the tree (this is because he was not free flight trained early) so he is slowly working out that when he’s outdoors he has full freedom and mum can’t always get him, so he has to work things out for himself and be more independent. It’s good for you bum bum! Your a big boy now! :D

Pabu is still a bubblegum crack face who is desperate to win Kevin over, if there was another cockatoo here he would probably give up on Kevin and try with them but since it’s just Kevin he’s the one he focuses on.
Kevin was in a good mood today, even eventually played chase with Pabu :)

Once it was hometime (after 2hrs) everyone was back in the crates and ready to go, except Bumi was a little stuck in the thick brushes of the mango tree, being a big big can make it awkward when you do have a clear flight path, so while Bumi was figuring that out, I set my other camera down to film Kevin talking away while Bumi came down haha. Crazy pink kid!
