Over 155,000 kanal of fertile land across villages including Ranwal, Rakh Ranwal, Garah Kodu Khan, Garah Baloch, Pathankot and Tank City has turned barren due to the stoppage of Rodh Chowa water from Tank Head Zam. This water once sustained the entire agricultural belt, but its closure has pushed thousands of farmers into severe hardship.
