The highest mountain of Iceland - Hvannadalshnúkur (2,110 m.) - Dangerous Hryggjaleið route.
Today me and my friend Nils are on the Vatnajökull glacier, we're trying to reach the highest point of all Iceland - Hvannadalshnúkur (2,110 m.).
We took the Hryggjaleið route from the Virkisjökull glacier. This is a tough and dangerous climb, you need to be well prepared both physically and mentally to be able to accomplish it.
But we made it to the top!
And now you can follow our steps during this ascent, just click the play button 😉
