[4K HDR] Blue Mountains Scenic Walk - Lookouts, Waterfalls & Views in Leura - Australia Walking Tour

Hi everyone! Welcome to Virtual Walks Australia.

Today our walk begins at the Tarpeian Rock Lookout Access Drive located on Cliff Drive in Leura.

It's an easy 5 minute walk to our first lookout. Take note of the spectacular rock formations at Tarpeian Rock and Lookout. Dotted along the cliff face are homes that enjoy incredible views out over the Jamison Valley. After taking in the views we turn back and start the Prince Henry Cliff Walk. Lookout for a friendly local at 13:45!

Turning onto Bridal Veil Falls Track, the walk is made easier with the ongoing improvements of sandstone steps which have been dropped in by helicopter. Arriving at Bridal Veil View Lookout we see our first glimpse of Bridal Veil Falls. The formation of the cliff to the left of Bridal Veil Falls continues along to the suburb of Katoomba.

Continuing along the Prince Henry Cliff Walk beautiful rocks and trees can be seen. As we approach the Leura Cascades notice the change in flora from more drought tolerant plants, to temperate climate plants such as ferns. Walking along Leura Cascades Walking Track we follow the sound of running water and enjoy the cool change that this brings. A naturally formed pool underneath a fern covered overhang is one of the prettiest parts of the walk. We walk until the water drops off and we are now standing at the edge of the Bridal Veil Falls. We climb to a higher elevation to take in the waterfall in all it's glory and finish this spectacular walk at Evelyns lookout.
