Meze 109 Pro - Unbox (ft. Modhouse Argon T60RP & Hook-X)

𝗠𝗲𝘇𝗲 𝟭𝟬𝟵 𝗣𝗿𝗼 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
- Slight but irritating sharpness & fatigue
- Good imaging, but no soundstage depth
- Good mid-bass, but weak lower bass
- For $800, not even as good sounding as Raptgo Hook-X($240)
+ Excellent general tonality (but no wow-factor)

𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗴𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝟲𝟬𝗥𝗣(𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝘆) 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
- Disappointingly artificial/plasticy sounding
- Xenon suede pad is annoyingly sharp/sibilant/shouty
- For ~$450, only slightly better sounding than KZ ZAS(~$74)
+ Good bass; its strength

Neither are keepers for me. The extremely disappointing journey through the headphone world continues. . .
