This video demonstrates installing, configuring, and testing the open-source Snort IDS (v2.9.8.2) program on a Windows 10 computer. The installation process is almost identical on Windows 7/8/8.1 or Windows Server and there is no difference in the Snort program or rules files for different versions of Windows.
