The Swisslog AutoStore solution, designed to specifically operate in Yusen’s high-mix, high-volume operation, features multiple customer’s products that stored in the 40,600 bins with 22 robots running on the grid deliver goods to 11 goods-to-person workstations. This allow Yusen to increase the throughput up to 18 times and increased its order fulfilment rate by 200%. The system also optimized storage volume from 2,000 cubic metres to 3,500 cubic metres, in the same floor space.
