NISSAN SENTRA STALLING DURING IDLE DIAGNOSIS AND FIX

Welcome back to another case study. Today we have a 2013 Nissan Sentra SR 1.8l 4 cylinder engine. Customer had the vehicle towed in because he could not keep the engine running. The engine would stall while he was driving and coming to a stop. When we scanned for trouble codes with the scan tool. We found dtc P0101 Mass air flow circuit fault code. Most of us are aware of the technical service bulletin about this code and how they require a reprogramming of the engine computer, But that bulletin only applies to a vehicle that does not have a drive ability problem. So the bulletin automatically does not apply to our case. Follow along as we use scan tool data and common knowledge to diagnose and repair this vehicle.
