It is possible, many of us would find this video useless, but some others who are really getting involved in this trade would find it useful to understand how 'arch designs' are done. Furthermore, to understand the use of 'basting' to attach pieces together in order to make sewing procedure easier, as well. These are tailor's techniques which can also be applied to general upholstery,
This video would make us understand the use of 'cut reliefs' which sometimes are a kind of 'must do' when doing certain designs. Otherwise, it would be very tedious to do these kind of circular inserts.
Perhaps, many of us the upholstereres are reluctant to update some techniques other artisans (shoemakers, tailors, etc.) use it.
