AO Smith Heat Pump Water Heater

A description of my installation of an AO Smith 50 gallon Heat-Pump water heater. Water heater pays for itself in 4 years.uses 1/4 the electricity of a regular 50 gallon water heater. It turned out to be too small for our needs. AO Smith and Lowes were good about giving me a refund. We now have an 80 gallon Rheem which is excellent, fast and quiet. The "quiet" bit is especially important because it was in a room under our bedroom. It also recovers 96 gallons an hour for only $40 more a year. I'll post an upgrade video with a sound comparrison as soon as I can.
