How To Recycle Roller Blinds DIY | The Carpenter's Daughter
Hi everyone,
Last week, I got a quote of £67 for a blind I liked for my tiny kitchen window. I thought that was expensive, so I found an old blind at my local jumble sale for £1.50.
It wasn't the right so, didn't have any fittings and I wasn't keen on the fabric, so I nipped to a fabric shop and picked a pattern I really liked.
I've found some Ripstop fabric and it was PERFECT for my project! Why? Because it's light, it's strong, sturdy,, thick and anti-fray meaning it gave clean, sharp, professional cuts without the need to hem.
No, this is NOT a sponsored post - I just found the fabric ideal for the job and overall, it was easy and cost £17.65 to make. I saved almost £50 for an evening's work. I'm blooming proud and love it!
Anyway, if you're in doubt, feel free to ask questions and hopefully subscribe for more DIY jobs in the home.
I hope I inspire you to save some money and recycle and here's what I used to complete my job!
